Well it is Saturday and all I can say about today is LAZY. If I would have let myself I could have layed on the couch in the basement watching Lifetime all day long. But, the grown up in me woke me up, sent me to the grocery store and had me make dinner. That is all the productivity I had in me today. Dinner was good though. Beef tips over noodles. Everyone enjoyed it, but of course I was poisoning Ian and he wouldn't eat it. Nothing changes.
Spent: $114 at Marcs and $45 at the grocery store. Not bad and it should take us through the entire week.
I did play some WII with the boys today and my arm actually hurts.
Have church tomorrow.
Until then.....k

Finally Friday
Whew....It's finally Friday.
Finished up my dental work last night and I do believe it is time to find a new dentist. I won't go back. I felt like a 5 year old getting scolded for being in pain. If I feel like that what do my kids feel like. My mouth is still tender today, and everytime I think about it I get angry.
Went to work today and cleaned my office, and boy did it need it. Hopefully, the new year will bring a clean office everyday.
The boys are driving me NUTS today. I got out of work early and they are a bunch of wild indians, and they don't listen to me. The just look at me as if I am speaking a foreign language.
Well....that's all I have for today.....quite boring.
A pre-spending diet update....only spent $3.39 today.....
Until next time......k

Resolutions
I know, "nobody keeps their New Years Resolutions". But I am going to try, really try. Don't laugh, but I have not one, but two resolutions. One for myself and one for my family. The one for myself is to blog everyday, just everyday stuff. The Second resolution is actually for myself and my family and we are going on a spending diet. I am actually thinking about blogging about it here. Hmmm. Thoughts......
How do I plan on the spending diet? Spending only what I have to. Bare minimum. With a possible treat at month end, if I have managed to save a certain amount (which I have not quite figured that out). I have to work out the details which I don't have much time left but hey... I need to do something.
Why is it that when I actually sit down and put everything on paper, income vs. monthly debt I am coming out ahead. Not much, but ahead. But in real life, not so true. I swear that I feel that I am robbing peter to pay paul and I don't like that feeling at all. My plan is to have myself and Tim actually write down everything that we spend actual cash on. Those trips to Marcs or to Citgo for milk, bread, etc, and maybe we can figure out where we are going wrong.
Wish me luck! I think I may need it.
Til next time.............. k
