It is still cold.....

When I got in the van today to trod off to work, I looked up at the compass/temperature reading and it read -14....No lie. That was the actual temperature and not the wind chill. The reports were that with the windchill it was actually -30. Schools have been closed for 2 days because it is just too darn cold to go outside.

I found this quote today......

"What you do today IS important, because you are exchanging a day of your life for it."

I love this quote...it reminds to live each day to the fullest with no regrets

Christmas Over, New Year Begun and Baby It's Cold Outside!

Well, that should say it all. Christmas is over, the New Year has begun and Baby It is Cold outside. Tomorrow I believe it is only going to be about 8 degrees. That is too cold for my liking.

Christmas was good. I think the kids were happy. Shannon got her camera. The boys got a bunch of Santa gifts. We definitely toned it down this year. Right before Christmas I was able to get all of the kids together and took their picture. We went to Aunt Cindy house and used her fireplace for the setting. Kinda gooberish, but I was happy with the turn out.



I also took individual pictures of them that I am beyond happy with and have hopes of framing each very soon.

Other than that, everything seems to be going alright. I still have a job. Tim still has a job. Kids are enjoying school. Shannon is working full time and we are really pround of what a responsible young lady she has become.
